Accessibility

E.Via Schadenmanagement GmbH aims to make its website and services accessible to everyone – regardless of any disabilities or the technology used. This statement applies to the website www.e-via.eu.

General description of the service

E.Via inspects and assesses damage to electrical appliances and other items covered by personal liability insurance on behalf of insurance companies. Via this website, you can find information about our company, access the E.Via service portal using your access number, and generate a dispatch label for sending in your appliance.

Status of compliance with requirements

The benchmark is the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the associated Ordinance (BFSGV), as well as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. This website is largely compliant with these requirements.

The assessment is based on an in-house audit carried out in October 2026, involving automated testing procedures and a manual review of keyboard navigation.

Measures implemented

  • All functions can be operated entirely via the keyboard; a ‘Skip to content’ link leads directly to the main content.
  • Keyboard focus is clearly visible at all times.
  • Text meets the required minimum contrast levels.
  • Headings, navigation areas and lists are technically correctly marked up, enabling screen readers to convey the structure of the pages.
  • The language of each page is indicated; content that has not yet been translated is identified as being in German.
  • Input fields are labelled; error messages and fault notifications are automatically read out by screen readers.
  • The scrolling banner featuring the Group’s companies can be paused at any time.
  • The website does not set cookies for tracking purposes and does not load content from third-party providers.

Restrictions

  • The ‘A Strong Group’ carousel continues to move even if ‘Reduce movement’ is selected in the system settings – though in this case it moves significantly more slowly. It can be stopped using the ‘Stop carousel’ button.
  • Some content is not yet available in all the languages offered and will therefore be displayed in German.
  • The E.Via Service Portal, our Help Centre and the DHL Returns Portal are separate services and are not covered by this statement.

We are constantly working to remove existing restrictions.
